Super hotel and restaurant. Staff super friendly and helpful. Our hire car had a flat battery and Rudolf went above and beyond to help us out and a couple of locals and staff gave us a very welcome jump start. Fantastic drive to the village too. Thanks so much everyone and see you next time. Neil and Shea xx

Far exceeded expectations, waiter was attentive and bilingual, food came out fresh, hot, and in a reasonable time. Each meal seemed have had the touch of a gourmet chef because my party completely cleaned their plates. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Also the owner personally greeted my table.

My wife and I had lunch at the restaurant on a Sunday. Great atmosphere with live music and many locals singing along. Since the place was full, service took a bit of time but was very friendly. We loved our typical local seafood dishes.

I want to start by saying that do not let these negative reviews scare you away ! Understand what to expect from a small hotel restaurant in a secluded fishing village. I've traveled about 80 percent of the Caribbean and this place made me fall in l9ve with the Caribbean once again. the Hotel and its staff are absolutely lovely. They made us a vegan meal which was light but quite nice . We made a reservationand the food came in 20 minutes. We speak very little French and they treated us kindly and spoke to us in fairly good English. My favorite part of dinner was when I ordered rum and she brought me the bottle with a separate bottle of cane juice snd a cup with limes. The room was quaint but comfortable. The town and it's people were genuine good hearted and the green cliffs , beaches and rivers are second to none. A place I will remember fondly and not soon forget.

When I visited Martinique I thought it was beautiful. Hotel Restaurant Tante Arlette is the first of many hotels that I have stayed at during my visit to Martinique and it was most certainly an experience. First things first, if you visit, you must rent a standard vehicle, It just makes traveling that much more fun with the volcanic and mountainous roads. My stay at this hotel was very nice. It almost felt like the location was at the bottom of what felt like a village. All the locals were nice, and they had a beautiful walk to where the ocean is. I stayed for dinner (oh boy do they have a lot of vegetarian options!) and I enjoyed everything. I even stayed for ice cream. The room was very cozy, and they have a hot top on the roof of the hotel. It was out of the way from where my boat was moored up, but worth the trip. Please drive slow when approaching this area as it is narrow roads. There are a couple of parking spots for the hotel, but if not, the beach parking is free, and not even a block away. The morning after my stay I went for a long run and enjoyed watching the sunrise and watching the city wake up. Their portion sizes for both breakfast and dinner is quite a handful but so good! You must visit if you have the opportunity.

Love this place. Super busy but very friendly and personable. Room was spotless. Enjoyed the check-in refreshment and in-room complimentary rum drinks. They even stored our perishables in the kitchen for us. Diner services was paced and a whole delightful evening event on the terrace enjoying the local ambiance. Food was fantastic. Very well spiced, fresh, creative. Best ratatouille we've ever had. Mains were excellent. Full plates rich in flavour. Very good wine list. Super tasty cocktails. Owner even came out to chat and share family history. Would highly recommend. Genuine Martinique experience.

I am sitting here now for the second day in a row, not a client of a room, but the restaurant, yes. Just a gorgeous, beautiful, calming experience at the end of the world. Very very good Creole cuisine and warm, gentle service.
